Premium XL Gear Bag

Handmade in Colorado. We upgraded our original XL Gear Bag to offer even more functionality and versatility. Six (6) interior pockets provide space to separate and organize bag contents. Two exterior grab handles, one on either end, allow you to easily pull the bag from a vehicle or overhead plane compartment. And the Bag has been resized to comply with airline carry-on dimension parameters, making it an excellent travel bag. 

Though it makes an excellent travel bag, whether for an overnight trip or for a journey around the world, the Premium XL Gear Bag has many possible uses. For those of you always prepared to leave in a hurry, it makes a great bailout bag. It will take your big dynamic recovery rope, with plenty of room to spare for other extraction equipment. It will hold your advmoto kit, scuba gear, evacuation supplies, and many kinds of camp stoves. And those are only a few suggestions.

Like our original Gear Bags, every aspect and detail of the Premium XL Gear Bags are designed for maximum durability. The handles are sewn down around the underneath of the bag, so that the bottom will never blow out and the handles will never separate from the seams. Hefty #10YKK zippers won’t break or separate. An added layer of black 1680 ballistic nylon reinforces the exterior bottom. All seams are not only triple-sewn, but also edged with binding tape to prevent fraying. And the waxed canvas, premium canvas, and nylon themselves are tough, rugged textiles.

To add yet more durability, Blaze Orange nylon (1000d) lines the main compartment of each Bag. In addition to adding toughness and structure, the orange nylon creates a high-vis backdrop, so that contents are readily distinguishable, even in lower light conditions.

Several additional features create ease of use. The four metal #10YKK zipper pulls are each knotted with 550 paracord, offering a longer gripping surface. This paracord is green on one side of the Bag and black on the other, allowing user orientation of Bag contents, even when the Bag is closed. On either side of each zipper is a webbed tab, for gripping when zipping the Bag. If you wish to add a strap, metal D-rings offer attachment points. For Bag personalization, a long, wide strip of Velcro provide room for numerous patches, or for ATC Name Tapes.

**Please note that Waxed Canvas has its wonderful waxed canvas scent, while Premium Canvas and Nylon are scentless. All materials are water-resistant.
