The Artist's Mini

You're out in the backcountry amidst stunning nature. Maybe sitting outside your tent or rig, drinking coffee as the sun rises. Or perhaps relaxing by a fire as the sun sets in brilliant shades of color. Photos are a good way to record the moment. But to truly capture the essence of the experience, not merely the exact scene but your impressions of it, what you feel while existing within it, drawing or painting offers a lovely alternative. And, in being present in those moments, in closely observing both the wilderness around you and your place within it, you experience a more immersive dynamic.
